From the moment that I knew I was expecting my first child, my life changed.  I have always wanted to be a mom.  I knew that this life change would be exciting and an adventure.  I can remember researching and educating myself on all things birth and baby related.  It all seemed so fascinating!  I was going to do everything that I needed to do to make sure that I was prepared for whatever would come my way in this journey. 

Due to having a baby in breech position, my first delivery was via c-section.  With proper preparation and a skilled care provider I was able to deliver my second child via an unmedicated VBAC.  It was an experience that I will never forget.  I remember feeling so empowered.

 I wanted to share this feeling of empowerment to all women!  I started with women in my life (friends, family) and assisted them in birth and postpartum.  At the time I didn’t know what a “Doula” was, but I knew I loved supporting my loved ones in birth.  As years went by I realized that I could make a career out of this and share my passion and compassion with other women.  I became a certified REAL Doula in 2018.
